Project description
Regenerative homes are healthy at a planetary, local and individual level. Re-addressing current destructive construction, material and housing practice, this project proposes an alternative approach to dwelling; one that focuses on closed loop systems and the wider and long term impact of our homes. The outcome is a regenerative network of variable spaces and environmental conditions that can be freely appropriated and adapted by inhabitants, enabling flexibility between different ways of living day to day, season to season, and household to household – adapting to dynamic environmental and social contexts. The proposal reconnects the home with its inhabitants and environment, rather than standing in defiance of them.
