Project description
Avalon explores how architecture can uncover and energise the hidden cultural and material values of worn out and seemingly worthless elements of the city, within the constraints of ‘environmental economy’.
The project tests how this can be used to build a resistance to the gradual conversion of the Elizabeth and Juno Way Industrial Estate in New Cross into a soulless trade park.
