Kiril Georgiev: Open-Air Commons

Goal & objective
To challenge educational models, places for knowledge exchange and their spatial implications; to liberate schooling from curricular constraints through a focus on thematic learning, open-ended exploration and incidental forms of education. To bring open-air education to the largest possible public.

Strategy
Based on a series of pavilions within an open landscape and a large steel canopy. Making use of industrial inexpensive methods based on standardised, prefabricated components and construction methods.

Impact
Compensating for social divisions that humanity has sustained for too long. Aiding a shift to the next stage of evolutionary development. To a synergetic unfolding world of opportunities and cooperation.
