On the built environment’s ecology

We place opinions
in the landscape,
premeditated acts
eliciting responses,
and some may say
this, is the evolution
of ecology,
organisms negotiating
the terms and conditions
of their relationship
with other organisms.
Agreements aren’t always
built on peace
but out of necessity
to surroundings,
out of the need
to exist in a landscape
saturated with opinions
that won’t budge
on pushing back,
the tug of war
between subjective
justice, design
is a political mark
ergonomic to bias
in the guise of right
versus wrong.
